Dr. Kanury Rao or Kanury Venkata Subba Rao is an Indian immunologist known for his contributions to various fields, particularly immunology and research. Born on September 27th, 1958, he was the head of the Drug Discovery Research Centre (DDRC) at the Transnational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) Faridabad. Kanury Rao is known for his innovative research in medical science. He was awarded one of the highest Indian science awards, "The Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology" in 1997.
