Rains affect normal life in Uttarakhand, 87 roads closed; Badrinath and Yamunotri highways disrupted

Due to continuous rain in Uttarakhand, traffic has come to a standstill on many important routes. The Rishikesh-Badrinath National Highway has been closed since late night due to debris near Sirohbagad. Similarly, on the Kedarnath Yatra route, pilgrims were temporarily stopped at Sonprayag due to heavy rain.
